Use the good china today
🥳It’s my birthday today, and I couldn’t be happier.
One year ago, I spent my birthday at the beginning of a pandemic. Nobody really knew what was going to happen, and yet, a year later, we are still living this thing.
♥️This year I told everyone about my birthday because I really wanted to receive messages and love. You might be thinking that this is a childish action and that I was seeking attention, well, yes - to some extent. However, what really made me do this was that very few people would remember my birthday in previous years because I thought it was too inconvenient to say anything. Then, I would feel sad that nobody would remember it, nobody would send me messages, let alone a gift. This year was different, I told in advance and made a big deal about it, and I received so much love. In times like this, isn’t it what we really need?
🥰What I learned in the past year is that we should and definitely must cherish life and our loved ones. I learned that we must be happy today, and that is all the matters.
In previous years, I would be too cautious, too shy about it, too quiet. I would not use the special things I own, afraid they would be, so I would end up not using them at all.
Today I used my “good china,” the one we kept saving for those special occasions. Yes, today is a special occasion, but isn’t it every day?
So I urge you to use your good china every day and be happy TODAY.
🙏🏻Thank you so much for all the beautiful messages, flowers, gifts. It was an unforgettable day. 🤩😍
